Here are some ways that you can get involved on the ground in Lebanon.
Volunteer with Salt & Light
Salt & Light Camp
Volunteering at a 3-day Salt & Light camp or a follow-up event is one of the easiest ways for visitors to get involved. At the camps, you’ll have the opportunity to act out a lesson, lead discussions, play games, and help kids make crafts. It means the world to vulnerable children when they see that volunteers come from across the globe just to spend time with them!
Intern with THIMAR-LSESD
Long-Term Internship
If you’re looking to stay in Lebanon for a longer period of time and would like to help out with the activities of one or more ministry, THIMAR-LSESD is always ready to welcome interns from around the world. There are lots of opportunities available across a wide spectrum of domains.
Volunteer with Salt & Light
Medical/Dental Team
If you have medical or dental experience and would like to send a team to offer free medical or dental assistance to refugees and vulnerable Lebanese, we’d love to have you come run a clinic with us! You would partner with Salt & Light to help those who are unable to access medical care on their own.
Volunteer with SKILD
SKILD Internship/Volunteering
The volunteer would serve as a shadow/support for one of the children who have special needs. They can serve at SKILD Center at the ABA Program, or partner schools. Typically, the volunteer should have minimal experience in special education, psychology, education, or working/volunteering with children and in children ministries.
